Did You Miss the Health Survey on the Big Island?


Greetings everyone, 

 Few weeks ago, Big Island Deaf Club teamed with the Gallaudet Deaf Health Communication and Quality of Life Center to inform our local community of their Quality of Life survey. We really appreciated their visit with us on the Big Island.

Are you deaf? Over 18 years old? Want $25? Contact PROMISASL@gallaudet.edu for more information. 

 If you qualify and take their survey, they will give you a $25 gift card. You can take the survey at home from your computer, ipad, or VP. If you are interested in participating, please email them at PROMISASL@gallaudet.edu. Neighbor islands are welcome to participate in the survey online or through VP.

Deaf Cruise Ship Days 2023 and 2024 (!)

Deaf Land & Sea Travel will organize the  Hawaii 2023  (sold out!) for July 2023. One of the stops on the cruise will be the Big Island, with stops in: Hilo on Tuesday, July 4th  8 am - 6 pm Kona on Wednesday, July 5th 7 am - 530 pm  Deaf Vacations Heart Cruises will organize the  Deaf Group Cruise 2023  for this December (sold out!). One of the stops on the cruise will be the Big Island, with stops in: Kona on Sunday, December 3th from 9 am to 6 pm  Hilo on Monday, December 4th from 8 am to 5 pm. Passages Deaf Travel will organize the Hawaii Cruise 2024  for April 2024. One of the stops on the cruise will be the Big Island, with stops in: Hilo on Sunday, April 28th from 7 am to 5 pm  Kona on Monday, April 29th from 8 am to Tuesday, April 30 at 6 pm. Deaf Land & Sea Travel will organize the  Tahiti, French Polynesian & Hawaii 2024  for June 2024.
