The Ironman World Championship is a triathlon held annually since 1978 to swim the distance of 2.4 miles (3.86 km), a 112 miles (180.3 km) cycling and 26 miles 385 yards (42,2 km) (marathon distance) running. The contest serves as a world championship for this triathlon distance. Through games of the Ironman circuit can qualify for the match. There are more than 2,000 athletes. One of them is deaf. His name is Vlad Schmidt from Seattle, Washington. He is a great inspiration for the deaf youth on the Big Island. Come show your support for #teamVLAD
